Synopsis:
When claims of a supernatural event are made at a remote, isolated church, a team of Vatican sanctioned paranormal investigators are dispatched to assess it. Deacon (Gordon Kennedy) is sceptical from the start but when he and techie (Robin Hill) arrive at the eerily quiet town, they soon start to question their own judgement. As the evidence mounts and events take a darker turn, it seems that something deeply sinister has been awakened within the church.

Borderlandzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - The Borderlands review by MK

Spoiler Alert
08/05/2014

I have absolutely no idea how this film can score so highly; nothing happens or is even remotely suggested that can qualify as scary or adding terror. The only action involves a sheep (no, please) and exploding light bulbs. This is the only film I have ever considered quitting less than 20 minutes in through sheer boredom. A must for all insomniacs!

Sorry not my kind of film it took to long to get to the point I fell asleep too slow! There was nothing in the parts of the film I did see to keep me interesed.

Who writes these reviews?! - The Borderlands review by LB

Probably the best low budget, slow-burn British horror I've seen in years. Does a great job of creating an atmosphere of fear and suspense with characters that are realistic and ring true (with an amusing dynamic). Wrong foots the viewer - is this all just bored locals having a laugh? Plus a quite terrifying ending. If you're looking for endless jump scares - look elsewhere.
