- Synopsis:
Senior Sergeant Mike Shepherd (Neill Rea), his smart, sassy side-kick, Detective Kristin Sims (Fern Sutherland) and young Detective Sam Breen (Nic Sampson) have become a formidable team, able to navigate around the quirky, complex characters who live in Brokenwood. However, the usual suspects of love, revenge, pride, lust, envy, greed and hatred are all bubbling beneath the surface and when they break through the murders never fail to be macabre and totally mystifying.
