When you're a good Irish Catholic, you choose one person to be with for the rest of your life. But how can you be sure you've found the right one? The brothers McMullen are lost in a haze of romantic confusion, wrestling with their volatile Irish Catholic upbringing. Jack, is married and adores his wife but is tempted to have an affair. Barry runs away from any woman who even suggests the commitment of a second date. And as for Patrick, he's so hopelessly romantic and incurably Catholic that he's taking advice about relationships from Barry. Thrown together for a few months in their childhood home, the McMullen brothers spur each other on to come to grips with their past, their women and ultimately the choices that shake up their lives, only to discover that nothing runs as deep as family.
