- Synopsis:
- The Chief is a British police drama that explores the politics behind the British constabulary and the problems faced by detectives, constables and inspectors a like whilst trying to solve and prevent crimes. Set in the fictional Eastland precinct in East Anglia the series ran from 1990 until 1995 and starred Tim Piggot-Smith, Martin Shaw and Michael Cochrane.
