- The Choir is a British reality series about one mans hope to create an impressive choir out of a group of people who never imagined choir singing before. Hosted by Gareth Malone the show follows him as he assembles a choir of unusual choir singers and trains them to compete competitively so that he can take them to a choir competition. The series follows the progression of the choir but also of the people in it as their lives change thanks to their participation in the challenge to be The Choir.

Interesting and enjoyable - The Choir Series review by DT
It's interesting to see how people who don't have any "professional" singing experience can, with guidance and hard work, come together to produce a really good sound. One of the aspects that Gareth Malone emphasises is how singing together can create bonds between people from different parts of large organisations, and different levels of seniority, who would never normally get to know each other.
