Synopsis:
Triple bill of made-for-TV festive films.
In 'The Christmas Box' (1995) young couple Richard (Richard Thomas) and Keri (Annette O'Toole) decide to move out of their cramped city house and open a ski shop. Money is an issue so the couple are delighted to take up an offer from elderly widow Mary Parkin (Maureen O'Hara), who agrees to allow them to share her mansion if they will help care for her. However, Mary, like her house, is old and mysterious, and the couple find themselves increasingly drawn into a bizarre new world.
'Will You Merry Me?' (2008) follows the love of Rebecca (Vikki Krinsky), an upper class LA girl, and Henry (Tommy Lioutas), from a more traditional Midwestern family. The pair are besotted with each other and quickly become engaged, but will their love survive the cultural trauma that occurs when their families meet to celebrate the news?
'One Christmas' (1994), based on the short story by Truman Capote, focuses on the relationship between a young boy, Buddy (T.J. Lowther), and his father (Henry Winkler). Buddy goes to stay with his father for the Christmas holidays and is initially unhappy around him, but will the magic of the festive season draw the pair together?
