- When teenagers Kara (Sierra McCormick) and Jessie (Brighton Sharbino) strike up an unlikely friendship during a plane journey, they discover that they've both been packed off to spend Christmas with distant family they've never met. Deciding to have fun with the situation, the girls switch places to experience life on the other side of the tracks, but along the way find the families they've always wanted and an even bigger surprise they never expected!
