Rent The Comedians (1971 - 1993)

"The Comedians" is a comedy showcase featuring performances from some of the best-loved stand-up comics of the 1970's and 80's. Taking the form of a comedy club night, each show comprises of segments from the sets of ten different comedians, as performed before a live audience in Manchester. Among the performers included are: Russ Abbot, Lennie Bennett, Stan Boardman, Jim Bowen, Duggie Brown, Frank Carson, Jimmy Cricket, Colin Crompton, Vince Earl, Stu Francis, Ken Goodwin, Jackie Hamilton, Bobby Knutt, Bernard Manning, Mick Miller, Tom O'Connor, Mike Reid, George Roper and Roy Walker.
