"The Company" follows the complex lives, loves, dramas and triumphs of a company of aggressively talented dancers over a season at the world-renowned Joffrey Ballet. At the centre of this ensemble is Ry (Neve Campbell) a tough, gifted and dedicated dancer, pushed to her physical and emotional limits by the flamboyant and charismatic choreographer and company director Mr. A (Malcolm McDowell). As the season unfolds, egos collide and insecurities take over as the art of ballet becomes a war of attrition. In characteristic Altman style and envisioning the world of ballet as only he could, "The Company" serves as a love letter to artists who work in this singularly difficult and universally expressive medium.
