Created by BAFTA-nominated writer and playwright Clive Exton, this series of twelve soap-style dramas takes a light-hearted look at the varied inhabitants of Carlisle Crescent, a fictitious West London street, who share communal gardens but little sense of community spirit. With further scripts by Willis Hall, William Trevor and Alick Rowe - 'The Crezz' features an exceptional ensemble cast that includes stand-out performances from Joss Ackland, Peter Bowles and Nicholas Ball. The focal point for 'the Crezz' is the Gardens Committee chaired by lecturer Charles Bronte (Ackland). Although desperately keen to foster a sense of cohesion, he is often forced to mediate in the disputes that arise among the Crescent's residents.
