Inspired by true events, "The Devil Has a Name" is the story of a psychotic oil matriarch who leaves the whole industry exposed when she attempts to outfight a bullish farmer whose water has been poisoned. Inspired by bizzare true events, the film will shine a scathing light on the destructive nature of corporate greed and the culture of environmental apathy. In addition to directing, Edward James Olmos play Santiago, a Mexican immigrant and confidant, while David Strathairn will lead the film as Fred Stern, a tough as nails farmer who takes on an oil empire.
