Synopsis:
This concert footage features the Irish/American band, The Elders, performing at the 89th Annual Plaza Lighting Ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri. The video documents one of the last performances of the band's True Tour, - their final tour after a 20-year career of traveling and recording together. The songs featured in this one-hour concert are the crowd favorites - what essentially would be considered - the best of The Elders; songs such as Meeting of the Waters, 1849, and the A Cappella classic, Men of Erin. These and others will stick in your head long after the last song is played. The video also includes interviews and some behind the scenes footage. The annual Thanksgiving lighting ceremony is one of Kansas City's most beloved seasonal traditions. The event typically attracts tens of thousands, and with The Elders performing, there were well over 100 thousand people in attendance. Sponsored by Kansas City Power and Light,
