- The First Churchills is a British drama series about the life of John Churchill (John Neville), the 1st Duke of Marlborough and his life. The series follows Churchill and his wife Sarah (Susan Hampshire) and their lives together. The series chronicles their first meeting and beyond as they get closer. The series also looks at the responsibilities of John and the state of England during his life and the politics and social aspects that affected his life and the way he went about his job during the 17th and 18th century.
