- Synopsis:
- "The First Team" follows the off-the-pitch escapades of three young football players - Mattie (Jake Short), Benji (Shaquille Ali-Yebuah) and Jack (Jack McMullen) - as they find themselves struggling with their mercurial Italian manager Cesare (Paolo Sassanelli), the team's eccentric American Chairman Mark Crane (Will Arnett), resident hard-man Petey Brooks (Theo Barklem-Biggs) and ineffectual coach Chris Booth (Chris Geere). All whilst living in fear of Olivia (Tamla Kari), their team's press manager, who can make or break them.
