A predictable and clichéd thriller. - The Flock review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
17/03/2009

Erroll Babbage is an administrator for the department of public safety whose job is to monitor sex offenders within his state. Forced by the department into taking early retirement due to complaints about his abusive behaviour against the sex offenders he is assigned to monitor, he spends the last eighteen days of employment passing on a careers worth of knowledge to his replacement Allison Lowry. When a local seventeen year old goes missing Errol is convinced that her disappearance is connected to one the sex offenders under his watch and persuades Allison to help him uncover the truth and find the missing girl. Overall this is a substandard formula driven thriller which tries to be a mix of ‘Se7en’ and ‘8mm’ and fails miserably. Both the plot and dialogue are unbelievably clichéd and the plot is so weak within the first 25 minutes you easily guess who the culprit is, and the result is a film which drags along until the end.
