- Synopsis:
- The Following is an American crime drama that follows the strange murders of a cult lead by famed serial killer Joe Carroll. Kevin Bacon plays Ryan Hardy, an ex police officer who is dragged back into investigating a series of killings linked to an old case. Hardy who has hit on tough times since apprehending Carroll (played by James Purefoy) must face down his cult of killers with the help of the FBI whilst trying to maintain his humanity in the face of some very dark murders.
