- The Fosters is a British comedy drama starring Lenny Henry and Norman Beaton and is renowned for being the first British series with an all black cast. Based on the American series Good Times the show follows the Foster family as patriarch Samuel (Beaton) tries to support his family living in a high rise council block in South London.
