The Four Counties Ring (2003)

This circular canal route is 109 miles long, with 94 locks, and cuts through the counties of West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire. The route is split into 3 separate canals; The Shropshire Union; The Middlewich; The Trent and Mersey. The final part of the journey takes place along the Caldon Canal, adding an extra 17 miles to your journey.
