The Wehrmacht was divided into three main areas: Kriegsmarine (Navy), Luftwaffe (Air Force) and Heer (Army). Special units, such as the Waffen SS completed the fighting troops. The video deals largely with the theme Armoured Forces, Tanks and Infantry Units. The German front stretched from the far north of Europe to North Africa and from the French Atlantic coast deep into the Caucasus. In addition to the German attacks against the Stalin line, other military actions are also shown. Interesting archive footage and numerous private film clips from different theatres of the Second World War are to be seen.
