- John Malkovich plays Casanova in this live recording of the chamber-opera written and directed by Michael Sturminger. Recorded at Vienna's Ronacher Theatre in 2011, Casanova's reflections on his life and approaching death are brought to life by the alternating roles of both Malkovich and baritone Florian Boesch. The music to accompany the piece is provided by W.A.Mozart and Lorenzo Da Ponte, with Martin Haselbock conducting the Orchestra Wiener Acadamie.
