The Giants of Jazz: Live in Prague 1971 (1971)

This video contains one of the nearly fifty concerts played by this stellar group of jazz musicians in late 1971 and early 1972. This band put an almost-retired Thelonious Monk back out on the road and reunited him with Art Blakey. This video features rare footage of Sonny Stitt in performance, as well as other great players. Although few of their performances were recorded, this Prague concert is the only known example of the Giants of Jazz on film.
