In a world where mutated humans are treated with distrust and fear, an institute for mutants battles to achieve peaceful co-existence with humanity...The Mutant Underground rescues a girl from a Sentinel raid, but fails to save her family; Eclipse (Sean Teale) and Caitlin get info on the Inner Circle with help from a criminal hacker; Polaris (Emma Dumont) prepares for her baby's birth...The Inner Circle prepares for a secret ambush, but Polaris is reluctant to join and Reeva (Grace Byers) tasks Esme (Skyler Samuels) with getting Polaris on board.
