Rent The Girl in the Park (2008)

This is a somewhat disappointing drama that really fails to establish any emotional ground and develop a convincing or enticing storyline. David Auburn was previously known as writer of the reasonable Lake House, now expanding into directing here for what is his debut. His inexperience shines through, as this is a plodding visual drama, while the storyline is as predictable as his earlier writing credits. Weaver goes through a whole range of painful experiences as she tries to forget the loss of a child. Like Doubt before it, Girl In The Park leaves you questioning the experience you’ve endured and ensures you must rely exclusively on your opinion for a conclusion.
