Synopsis:
The set, recorded in both 5.1 surround sound and 2-channel stereo include a 79-minute recital by James Lancelot on the Grand Organ of Durham Cathedral, together with 90 minutes of bonus features including a tour of the organ, commentary on the chosen programme, a work played on the small organ in the Organist's house, a narration on the performance of one of the works on the Grand Organ, and a tribute in the form of a hymn to the mining community of Durham. The free bonus CD contains a 2-channel stereo audio recording of the recital only. The film additionally includes footage of the Cathedral and the historic city of Durham.
