Matt Hayes and Mick Brown are back for a fresh new challenge. They have to dash 700 miles from the west coast of Ireland to the most easterly point in England passing through the best angling sites in the British Isles. But there's a catch... they have only 30 days to reach their destination and one pound of fish equals one mile they can travel, so the heavier the fish, the further they can go!
Days 13-14 Having crossed the Irish Sea to Anglesey, our lads get permission to fish at Ty Hen Lake only a mile from the sea. But the day is far from successful and with not a single fish they're stuck!
Days 15-16 As day 15 dawns, their luck changes and they soon net numerous Carp. By the end of the day they've caught a total of 42lbs and are ready to move on to Lyn-y-Gors Fishery where rich pickings of Barbel await.
Days 17-18 Matt and Mick are in fishing paradise at the River Cleddau near Bets-y-Coed in the Conway National Park. They're fly fishing for Salmon and Sea Trout - but they're not biting. They move to the Llyn Brenig Reservoir in the Snowdonia National Park where Matt tries for Trout and Mick for Pike.
