"The Challenge" - Hayes and Mick Brown are back for a fresh new challenge. They have to dash 700 miles from the west coast of Ireland to the most easterly point in England passing through the best angling sites in the British Isles. But there's a catch...they have only 30 days to reach their destination and one pound of fish equals one mile, so the heavier the fish, the further they can go!
Days 25-26 Despite disappointment of the previous day, our lads stay put at Ecton Lake risking all for that monster catch. Their patience is rewarded with a beautiful 161b carp. Its then off to Stibbington Lake in Peterborough where the conditions are perfect for summer stalking.
Days 27-28 Day 27 exceeds both Mick and Matt's wildest expectations. Matt lands two whopping fully scaled carps of 161b and 201b and with Mick chipping in, their day ends with a bulging keep net. At Pieces Country Park in Welney, rudd and roach are the order of the day.
Days 29-30 With the deadline closing in, and the coastal town of Lowestoft in sight, will Matt and Mick manage to complete their goal of seven hundred lbs of fish?
