Audiences who enjoyed 'The 100 Year-Old Man' will love 'The Grump'. In an award-winning performance, legendary Finnish actor Antti Litja plays the cantankerous, pernickety 80-year-old farmer who is fiercely opposed to modernisation. When he is forced to move in with his son and his wife in the city they instantly butt heads with hilarious consequences. But there's more to the old man than the couple originally thought and, likewise, he has a thing or two to learn from the younger generation. From the moment the ageing curmudgeon arrives in the city, it's apparent he's out of his element. Meanwhile his constant meddling not only threatens to derail an important business deal being brokered by his daughter-in-law, but begins to put a serious strain on his son's marriage as well. Later, it becomes increasingly obvious that the ornery octogenarian harbours some painful secrets made all-the-more problematic by his stubborn refusal to address them
