- Synopsis:
- In this playful comedy, a husband-and-wife acting duo (real-life spouses Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne) experience difficulties early in their marriage. Worried that his wife might cheat on him, the actor decides to test her faithfulness by pretending to leave town and attempting to seduce her while disguised as a dashing Russian soldier. When she begins to reciprocate the affections of his alter ego, however, it is unclear whether or not she has seen through his ruse.
