Centring around four students and their relationships, The Harrad Experiment is based at a college where 'free and open' sexual relations are encouraged between students. Not only is freedom of sexuality encouraged, it is required if students at the Harrad College intend on graduating. Paired with roommates of the opposite sex, the students are advised to abandon their sexual hang-ups and embrace the 'free love' mantra of the college. Despite the total absence of any rules or sexual codes, not all of the students find it so easy to shed their inhibitions. The Harrad Experiment strips away the layers created by society and exposes a sexual revolution that was being fully embraced by many during the 1960s. This infamous soft-core drama boasts Tippi Hedren and James Whitmore, heading the faculty and the student bodies on display include Don Johnson and Bruno Kirby.
