The Heiress of Vilkaci: Latvian National Opera (Jansons) (2011)

The first ever staged performance of Bruno Skulte's opera,recorded at the Latvian National Opera. The story follows a man and a woman who fall for each other despite coming from rival villages. The conflict intensifies but eventually the citizens must find a way to live in peace. Andrejs Jansons conducts the LNO Orchestra and Chorus.
