Ric La Monte directs this indie horror about a group of teenagers seeking shelter in an abandoned asylum, little realising the evil that lurks there. An obsessed Dr. Walter Newman (Randy Molnar) is convinced he can cure human deformities through the use of DNA experiments. With his devotion to his work eclipsing his wife Olivia (Georgia Chris)'s pregnancy, he continues experimenting on his patients at the remote Edgewood Asylum. But when his wife subsequently gives birth to twins, one of which is a hideous, abnormally deformed creature, he quickly realises it must be destroyed. 25 years later, a van carrying Liz Holliman (Aerica D'Amaro) and teenagers from the Roslyn Center for the Deaf breaks down outside the long-abandoned asylum. As the stranded teenagers seek shelter from the raging storm outside, they have no idea of the impending horror waiting to greet them.
