Rent The House of Eliott (1991 - 1994)

The House of Eliott is a British period drama about two sisters, Beatrice (Stella Gonet) and Evangeline (Louise Lombard) who start a dressmaking business following the death of their father and the loss of all their money. The series follows them as they attempt to rebuild their lives in 1920s Britain when they lose all their money paying off their fathers debts. The series shows how hard it was for women at the time but also the strong bond these two sisters have and how it is strengthened by their fathers death.
