- A summer filled with hot music, good friends and cute girls on a ritzy resort island in 1976 becomes paradise for a 16-year-old boy in the hilarious coming-of-age comedy, The Inkwell. At first, shy teenager Drew Tate (Larenz Tate) dreads another dull summer holiday with his parents and relatives at their beach house. But soon the surf, sand and sun change his attitude.
