Mike Day directs this documentary which looks at the growing crisis surrounding whaling in the Faroe Islands. With farming on the remote islands almost impossible, Faroe Islanders have traditionally relied on hunting the seas as their main source of food. However, with pollution in the world's oceans reaching dangerous levels, the Faroese are now finding that the whales they have hunted for centuries are now posing a threat to their health, as rising levels of mercury in the fish are making them hazardous to eat.
