But for a man who has built a career on finding the next great horror novel, it was just a matter of time before the story turned on him. Soon after David Lamont, a literary agent dubbed 'The King of Fright' moves into a coveted three-storey penthouse in New York, he begins receiving violent crime scene photographs that appear to have taken in his new apartment, followed by videotapes that document his every move.
