Rent The L Word (2004 - 2009)

Created by Ilene Chakin and starring Jennifer Beals (Flashdance) and Pam Grier (Jackie Brown), The L Word tells the story of a group of lesbians living in Los Angeles. The series follows multiple characters from confused Jenny (24’s Mia Kirshner) to happily together couple Bette (Beals) and Tina (Laurel Holloman), looking at the many aspects of lesbian culture from coming out to having kids. The show looks at a group of friends struggling through similar problems as they try to be something in the big city and attempt to find love.
