Set in a poor, steamy Havana, 'The Last Match' centers on an intense love affair between two hitherto heterosexual young men. Reiner and Yosvani - best friends and soccer mates. In order to support his mother, wife and baby, Reiner prostitutes himself to older male foreigners while the shy Yosvani is reluctantly engaged to a girl and lives with her bombastic loan shark father. Sharing a kiss at a nightclub, the two men succumb to their desires, followed by a lusty rooftop encounter where they quickly fall hard for one another. But as their love intensifies, the challenge is not with them but with the unforgiving outside world they exist in. A great movie. - The Last Match review by HS
What a great movie you really should see this! I don't want to give the story away, but i have to say it's one of the best gay themed films i have seen to date. The acting/actors, production and script has produced a movie full of emotion and passion. Don't miss it!
