- In 2019 record-breaking British climber Tom Ballard disappeared on one of the Himalayas' most deadly mountains, Nanga Parbat. 25 years earlier and just 100 miles away, his mother Alison Hargreaves, one of the greatest ever female mountaineers, perished on K2. 'The Last Mountain' follows Tom's sister, Kate, on a trip to Nanga Parbat to say goodbye to her brother.
