A potted history of the US Cavalry and the problems they faced in the taming of the Old West Frontier. The tales are told using first hand accounts,and include the story of the massacre endured by Captain Fetterman,the brave stand by Captain Powell and his 32 men in the face of 3,000 Sioux warriors and how the establishment fought against the indigenous people and claimed the land as their own.
