When affluent city slickers, Peter (Jim Caviezel) and Carla, set off for the Australian bush on a long H weekend trip, they are looking forward to soaking up the sun and letting the peaceful surroundings help to heal their broken marriage. After finally finding their idyllic beach getaway, the distracted urbanites waste no time in disrupting the beautiful environment by littering, taking pot-shots at passing wildlife and generally disrupting nature's way. But when this blatant disregard for the pristine bushland sounds a red alert among the indigenous species, the callous couple are quickly under siege as the animals and fauna refuse to accept this final human invasion. Alone, terrified, disorientated and vulnerable, the city folk sense the bush closing in on them.
