- American romantic comedy drama in which a married couple find themselves in the arms of separate lovers when their lust for each other diminishes. Just as their individual forbidden romances are about to become fully fledged and independent as they both swear to their respective extramarital companions that their marriage is about to end, Mary (Debra Winger) and Michael (Tracy Letts) wake up one morning in the arms of each other and find that their spark has somehow been reignited. With their lovers beginning to become impatient and suspicious, Mary and Michael must decide whether to give love another chance or whether to leave each other for good.
