- Barbara Stanwyck plays a phony evangelist, Florence Fallon. After Fallon's father is fired from the church where he preached for many years, she becomes embittered and loses faith. Fallon teams up with con man, Horsby and begins faking miracles for profit The love and trust of a blind man restores her faith in God and her fellow man.
