- Synopsis:
- Steven (Albert Brooks) is a Hollywood screenwriter who's lost his edge. Nobody wants his scripts. His successful friend (Jeff Bridges) recommends he contacts Sarah (Sharon Stone) who is (according to this friend) a muse, one of the daughters of Zeus who inspires creativity. The only problem is that Sarah not only gives, she takes. She demands expensive gifts and total servitude from whomever she has taken under her wing. This initially amuses suspicion in Stevens wife Laura (Andie MacDowell). Soon, however, its Laura who is asking for inspiration and Steven is the one who starts to get jealous...
