Documentary directed by Dylan Howitt following textile artist Allan Brown over a seven-year period. After becoming interested in foraging for nettles, Brown learns traditional weaving techniques and finds solace in the process of drying and spinning the nettles he harvests into yarn. When his family suffers a tragic loss, the dress he is weaving for his daughter from the nettle yarn becomes part of his grieving, until it is finished and she is able to wear it and walk through the woods where the nettles that formed it were harvested.
