- A mysterious book is the gateway between two worlds... the world of reality and the world of imagination. When a young boy, Bastian, opens the pages of The Neverending Story, he enters the world of Fantasia - a wondrous magical world, bought to life by strange creatures and interesting characters. Sadly, Fantasia is dying. A terrible force, The Nothing, is threatening to destroy it all. The Childlike Empress, the ruler of Fantasia, is also dying, crippled by the illness that plagues her land. The inhabitant's only hope is to send their most esteemed warrior to find a cure. But, what he discovers is that the only person who can save both Fantasia and the Empress is Bastian himself!
