- Old Grey Whistle Test is a British music series that highlighted the best of Rock music during the 1970s and 80s as different acts were brought onto the show to perform and show their music to a wider audience. The series featured new and upcoming bands as well as established hits while avoiding using chart topping artists of the period as it tries to show the true idea of Rock and Roll as it also plays some good music from bands with a fresh take on Rock.
