Two Westerners, American photographer Luke (Stephen Dorff) and his British friend Adam (Neil Jackson), are traveling in North Africa and as Luke explores the streets of Marrakech, he falls for the seductions of Zahra (Sarai Givaty), a local woman. Her culture prohibits the relationship and the pair find themselves surrounded by ever-increasing hostility. Seeking refuge in the Atlas Mountains, they hope to escape the threat that lies in Marrakech but then find themselves in a remote village and to a claustrophobic maze of underground tunnels that are both dark and threatening. What started out as an adventure abroad suddenly turned into a fight for survival and ultimately a shocking conclusion.
