Synopsis:
Penelope Cruz and Adrien Brody star in this amorous screen epic based on the legendary Torrero, Manuel Sanche famously known as Manolete - and his passionate affair with actress and call girl Lupe Sino. As the love between them grows, so does pressure from his entourage and even General Franco as both parties try desperately to discourage their romance.
