Long ago a passage to the spirit world was discovered... Gods and men traversed the passage, each inhabiting the other's world. The Possession is the third in a series of thriller films, based on widely held belief that the Ouija board is a portal that enables people to communicate with the spiritual world. In Witchboard we meet a young married couple, Brian a commodities broker and Julie, a teacher whose lives are thrown into chaos when Brian finds he can predict the commodity markets fluctuations using the power of the Ouija board. The story presents the Faustian struggle of good versus evil, when Brian gives up his soul to the dark side in return for the ability to profit financially from the Ouija boards powers. An evil spirit enters Brian's body, displacing his soul and causing mayhem and disaster. Julie must summon great courage and daring to retrieve her husband from the clutches of this sinister and arcane power. In the startling and dramatic climax, special effects and CGI bring about the transformation of Brian's body and soul, and the young couple find out that their love is the only weapon against the force of evil. - Actors:
