- When a chance meeting in Montreal reunites Holocaust survivors Hersh Rasseyner and Chaim on Rosh Hashanah 1948, the men become involved in a daylong discussion of God, fate, reconciliation and friendship in this sensitive film from director Eli Cohen. David Brandes adapted the play by Joseph Telushkin, from the short story "My Quarrel with Hersh Rasseyner" by Chaim Grade.
